The Epernay vineyard cava contest organized under the auspices of SGV Champagne and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Reims and Epernay opens its inscriptions for its forty edition.
- Wine growers and cooperatives wishing to submit their vintages to the competition are invited to submit their registration dossier and samples to SGV services in Epernay.
- Bar-sur-Seine and Château-Thierry until May 4.

- The contest is open to winegrowers who vinify and produce their own vintage.
- To cooperatives who mount and slaughter their cuvées (proof of the certificate from the president of the cooperative).
- To cooperatives for single vintage wines.
- Of its wine-growing partners and for the cavas marketed under the main brand and through their own departments.
- To give winegrowers and cooperatives the opportunity to present more confidential vintages.
- The quantities of vintages presented have been revised downward within the limits of the thresholds provided by the texts.

The samples will be tasted on June 19, 20 and 22 during the pre-elections and final selections that will bring together juries composed of winemakers, journalists, restaurateurs, winemakers, sommeliers. The official graduation event for the winners of the Contest will take place in October.
