Created in Reims and launched in early 2018, the AgriViti-Occasions mobile app is the result of a meeting between Nicolas Vilmart, founder of Bazam, a startup specializing in mobile applications, and Christophe Lévy, a well-established digital entrepreneur in Champagne. Previously, he had launched a Facebook group, AgriViti-Occasions, that allowed members to publish their sales classifieds of used materials for free. The encounter between the two men made them want to go further and offer the mobile app. Photos, videos, instant messaging, simplified search by hashtags, geolocation of the property for sale, are some of the services of the application. The icing on the cake is the possibility to buy used equipment directly from the application, through a secure payment solution. Launched in mid-January, the app had already been downloaded more than a thousand times after weeks, with a high usage rate of 70%.
